Just in case you don’t know, let me tell you about Matt. It’s not just that he’s hardworking because there are a lot of hardworking people out there. A few years ago, Matt came to do a job for me. Not only did he do the job well, but he went above and beyond what I expected. That day, I accidentally handed him the wrong envelope. I was also waiting on the gas company to come do some work, so I had two different envelopes with cash in them. After I paid Matt, I mentioned that I had added a little tip. He thanked me and went on his way. About an hour later, he texted me and said, “Hey, you gave me too much money.” I told him it was his tip, but he replied, “No, I can’t accept this as a tip.” I was confused because honestly, who turns down extra money these days? Well, Matt came all the way back to my house and handed me at least $500 in cash. He could have easily kept it because I had already told him I added a tip. That moment spoke volumes about his character. Matt is honest, respectful, loyal, and a man of integrity. Since then, he has even made donations to our ministry. I have so much respect for you, Matt. Good people still exist, and you are one of them.
