A lot of homeowners want storm protection but stop short when they think about what comes with an underground unit - water seeping in, flooding concerns, the hassle of climbing down in a hurry. Above-ground shelters solve most of those problems right out of the gate.

We build and install above-ground storm shelters that sit on a solid concrete pad and are ready to hold up when the weather turns ugly. The construction is heavy-duty steel throughout, with ventilation built into the top so air keeps moving inside. There's also a built-in bench so you're not just standing there waiting out a storm.

One thing people don't always think about is flexibility. If you ever move or want to reposition the unit on your property, above-ground shelters can be relocated. You're not locked in the way you would be with a pit dug into the ground. That's a real advantage for a lot of folks.

We offer different sizes and configurations depending on how many people you need to shelter and how much space you're working with. Single-door units, double-door units, barn-style rooflines - there are options. Each one gets set on its own concrete pad for a secure, level install.

If you've been going back and forth on which type of shelter makes sense for your property, we're glad to talk it through. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, and we'd rather help you make the right call than just sell you something.
